For over 45 years, SSI has been providing training, diving certifications , educational resources, instructors, dive centers and resorts, all over the world. Founded in 1970, SSI has grown to have more than 30 Service Centers, and is represented in over 110 countries with more than 2,800 SSI centers, having materials translated into more than 30 languages. SSI is clearly a name that can be trusted in the global diving landscape, and we attribute this success to our uncompromising standards and focus on our training methodology.

INTERNATIONAL RECOGNITION
As of June 1, 2010, SSI is one of the few training agencies qualified to ISO world standards. Seven types of SSI courses , five for divers and two for instructors, are certified under international standards: ISO 11121 for Try Scuba , ISO 24801 (from 1 to 3) for courses from Scuba Diver to Dive Guide , ISO 11107 for the Enriched Air Nitrox , and ISO 24802 (1 and 2), respectively for the Dive Control Specialist and Open Water Instructor. SSI patents for the respective levels have the ISO logo.

SSI International: The international headquarters are the place where the important standardization of diving certifications and SSI training programs takes place . It is where the SSI training standards are written, where the exercises and techniques for the SSI courses are created . The head office is also the place where the teaching material is produced, which is translated into many languages, with the help of our Service Centers.

SSI Service Centers: SSI Service Centers oversee and provide services to the SSI Dive Centers and SSI Dive Professionals in a particular area.

SSI Dive Center / Resort: It is a very vast network of professional companies, which operate as SCUBA or Freediving schools , aimed at divers or diving professionals, and which provide a series of destinations to the client, according to his needs.
