Il Sigaro is one of the most distinctive and spectacular dives we offer and one of the few sites where drift diving is strongly recommended. The dive begins on the shoal north-west of the beacon and follows the current through an extraordinary underwater landscape. Divers weave between granite pinnacles and towers rising from the seabed almost to the surface. Despite the relatively shallow average depth of around 15 m, large gorgonian branches and walls completely covered with Parazoanthus are common. Large dusky groupers, brown meagre, dentex and barracuda inhabit the site, while lucky divers may also encounter giant tritons and eagle rays. This dive is a true must.
